Font Licensing for Apps & eBooks

Designers and publishers understand benefits of good typography, which improves the user experience, set the appropriate voice of the message, provides optimal readability and creates a recognisable identity of a brand or a product.

Typotheque provides licensing rights to embed fonts into apps, eBooks, software and hardware products for commercial distribution. You will receive files in OpenType and TrueType formats to embed in an eBook or mobile app. It is a one-time, per-title fee.

To embed fonts into eBooks, iPad and iPhone applications, computer hardware (OEM) games, or software developers (ISV), or other commercial products, you will need an extension of the basic Print & Web Licence. You can also buy a desktop licence first and purchase embedding licence later.

Embedding licensing is for read-only purposes of a single product. Each product may be distributed in multiple mobile platforms and devices (ie. iOS, Android, HTML 5 etc...) Perpetual, one-off fee, for the life-time of the product.
